Colour heals

Words can cut deeper than any blade—sharp, cruel, unforgettable. As a child, those words surrounded me, sinking in, leaving scars unseen. Each cruel whisper and insult etched itself into my world. But in that darkness, I found a way to survive. I didn't erase the pain—I couldn't. Instead, I covered it in colour, not to hide it, but only to soften it. This artwork reflects that journey: a quiet fight where colour became my refuge, a shield against words that hurt, but could not define me.
