As a child, I often stood by the window, imagining the world beyond the shadows of my room. Through the cold, grey glass, I painted a brighter place—one filled with warmth, love, and endless colours. The hearts I saw weren’t real, but they felt like a promise, reminding me that beauty and kindness could exist somewhere, even if I couldn’t touch them yet. This piece reflects the hope I held onto as a child, a reminder that even in the darkest moments, imagination could fill my world with light.
